PANIC DISORDER
Panic disorder is a mental disorder that manifests itself in recurrent episodes of intense fear, known as panic attacks. These attacks are sudden and unexpected and can be accompanied by a variety of physical and psychological symptoms. People with panic disorder often experience a strong fear of recurring panic attacks and worry about situations that might trigger them.
Symptoms of a panic attack include a sudden feeling of intense fear or anxiety, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, sweating, shortness of breath, dizziness, twitching, numbness or tingling in limbs, feeling out of control or crazy, fear of death or going insane.
