SOCIAL AND SPECIFIC PHOBIAS
Social and other phobias are psychological disorders that affect the lives of millions of people around the world. These problems are characterised by an extreme and unjustified fear of certain situations, objects or interactions with other people. Phobias can have a severe impact on an individual's mental and emotional well-being, often limiting daily life and preventing people from reaching their full potential.
Social phobias
Social phobia can manifest itself in a variety of ways, such as fear of public speaking, anxiety when meeting new people, fear of expressing one's opinion in a group, or even fear of simple everyday tasks such as eating in front of others. Individuals with this phobia often experience intense unpleasant physical symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, sweating and dizziness, which can worsen their anxiety and discomfort.
Social phobia can have a significant impact on the quality of life of affected individuals. Restrictions in social activities and isolation have a negative impact on personal relationships, education, career and overall well-being. Therefore, it is important to understand the causes of this disorder and seek ways to overcome it and live a full and happy life.
